What is structured cabling, network wiring, low voltage wiring?
Structured cabling is a network of wiring consisting of category cable, speaker wire, coax, and more. These cables are installed into businesses and homes to connect AV equipment and networks. The term really only considers network cables for computers and telecommunications but in the industry we lump all wires into the term. Where we install Cat6 we also install speaker wire and other cables to connect equipment to the network.
